The test is performed on a compacted outdoor snow circuit driving the test vehicle at the stability limit. The test vehicle is equipped with a lap timer and can have the Electronic Stability Control switched off. The subjective assessment of the performances follows specific testing criteria focused on steering, stability and grip area. The output of the test is a detailed evaluation sheet with numeric ratings and qualitative comments. In addition to the subjective evaluation, the lap times are automatically recorded and reported. The overall result reflect both subjective judgment and average lap times.
